Setting up child #Microsoft / #Xbox accounts for my 2 youngest kids.... was just about the most unfriendly user experience I've ever had.
The Live ecosystem that MS uses for accounts just redirects you constantly, forgets who's logged in. Keeps having to re-authenticate me but sometimes it asks for an email sometimes it emails a code. It's anybody's guess!
So I'm juggling access to my email, my 2 kids' emails. Some stuff needs an app because the website can't do it. I had 3 browsers open....
I kid you not... I must have had to enter one of our 3 passwords over 40 times. It took me an hour & a half.
And I still don't know if adding my son's 2 school friends who gave him their gamertags worked or not because the Add Friend button gives no success/fail feedback. 🤷♀️
I thought these giant #tech companies were supposed to be good at this. 😱
@syntaxseed Can confirm that "Don't Ask Me Again" does nothing when signing in to Microsoft services via corporate SSO. It would be surprising if it worked on Xbox.
