Need dentures asap for medical reasons related to my osteoporosis. Have only coverage & funds to cover all extractions I need. I need dentures to be able to eat. I'm now begging for financial help needed because BC govt won't help me get dentures. I'm disabled & unable to work FT now. I don't know what to do.

After my osteoporosis specialist appointment tomorrow morning, I have a phone appointment with hospital social worker for plan B. If I can't raise enough funds to get full dentures, my only other option is to agree to be hospitalized & given extra nutrition via IV because I won't be able to eat without teeth & can't do all liquids/mush without losing more weight. I am less than 79 lbs.
I'm stressed out again just thinking of possibly having to be hospitalized because I'm too poor to pay for dentures, worried about who will look after my Mom because she depends on me a lot to keep home running & she also needs medical management help from me, daily. I have explored every avenue trying to find myself more financial help offline & came up empty.
I'm going for a walk with Mom, to try & feel less stressed out. The sunshine returned so it's pleasant outside this early evening.
@CStamp Mom qualifies to apply in May. I don't qualify until next year - I talked to federal government folks about this prior to creating my fundraiser. I need dentures in less than 6 months.
@msquebanh I’ve spent too much time with similar fears for my family if I fall apart. And so very many years of constant financial worries. Going for a walk sounds hopeful for a little break for you. Thinking of you.
@cobalt Thank you. Mom's just getting extra layers on & we are off for our walk. I'm also worried I'll lose my current work contracts if I end up being hospitalized for awhile & we will lose our home if that happens.
@cobalt It's interconnected stress, which you know too well, yourself. I know you have osteoporosis too. I hope my specialist appointment at 9am today goes well.
