@kyonshi The kbin instance I'm on, kbin.social, is still up. The codeberg project shows commits from last month so it seems to be still moving forward?
@chgowiz it's just... I haven't seen that much about it lately. and I just checked the rpg magazine and found links I posted months ago as the newest ones...
@kyonshi I get the impression, and maybe I'm wrong, but I get the impression that the first wave of migration to kbin/lemmy went about as the first wave of mastodon went... a huge enthusiasm, but most folks went back to Reddit.
@chgowiz@kyonshi I found kbin extremely awkward to use, let alone navigate, and I don't want to use lemmy. So, options a bit limited there (although I'm hoping kbin shakes off some of the awkward as development trundles on).
@taichara@chgowiz yeah, kbin is quite awkward. I don't think the whole interface is quite intuitive. there's a disconnect with what I would expect and what actually is presented.
(one of the things I'd like is being able to actually share fediverse-activated discussions and blogposts in a way that makes it possible to interact with them. right now there's the difference between the links and discussions, and the microblog on the other side)
