To #blind#techies, does anyone have any suggestions for a pair of noise canceling #headphones purchasable on #Amazon that can connect to my computer running #Windows10, preferrably wirelessly or through Bluetooth. It's even better if they can somehow also connect to a second device and let me hear when my mom calls my #iPhone. This would be something I could use with my computer on days when our dogs are barking a lot so I don't get such bad #SensoryOverLoad. Of course, they need to also either not have software for the computer, or that software needs to be somewhat #accessible. @Schepp@RareBird_15@mastoblind Do you mean connects to two devices at once, or lets you hear two devices at once? One does not mean the other. Often, one device interupts the sound from the other.
@davetaylor2112@Schepp@mastoblind I wouldn't mind if it interrupts. I would probably be mostly doing things on my computer and need to know if my phone rings, so if my phone interrupted my computer and let me know someone was calling, that would be fine.
@RareBird_15@mastoblind I'd also want something that can connect to both and hear both, I didn't find something until now, mine can only connect to one.
@RareBird_15@mastoblind Oh and one more thing. No software is required to use these. Just plug in the dongle and make sure you set your windows sound settings to the headphones. iPhone Bluetooth setup is the same as other devices.
@RareBird_15@mastoblind Hey I tried these Steel Series Arctis 9 headphones which are really pleasant to wear with great sound. They can connect via a dongle to your pc and via Bluetooth to your iPhone and you can use both at the same time without the need to switch. The headphones are big over ear design so it depends what you’re looking for but they are pretty comfortable for me at least.
