With four hours of train travel ahead of me, I thought I'd give Hoi a try. Unfortunately, I was unable to get past the main menu due to some problems with the emulator on Android 😖 I guess I will have to wait until I get home. I really like the style of this game 🙂
@daniel I'm flattered you tried to get Hoi running. 😃 Too bad it didn't work out. If you do get it to run, be sure to activate the Unlimited Lives option, and be prepared to see your character die even from falling too much. 😅 We were not as experienced in game creation as we were when we created Moon Child. I'd recommend that more than Hoi:
@mbt3d Vielen Dank Mark! 😊 I remember enjoying creating them. I was a 3ds Max alpha/beta tester at the time. Max was still the bomb in 2001. I rendered the animations using finalRender, which was the first real GI renderer back then, from the German Cebas. Before finalRender you had to fiddle with a topology-dependent radiosity renderer to have bounced light.
@metin That was about the time I first tried 3DS Max 2002 or so . My first tentitive steps into the world of 3D.
I think you may need to write your Memoirs one day Metin, if you ever retire 😂
