@gregorni The company was always relied too heavily on hype imo.
Ultimately, they were never a choice for having a secure and private device. Even though Android is robust from a security standpoint. Nothing doesn't stand out, just like the rest, they take the typical approach of applying limited AOSP backports every month.
Their phones don't come with arguably industry standard security features like a secure element (Titan M2, Secure Enclave, Knox Vault etc)
@GalacticBox I feel like that too 😢 It's too bad, I felt like they had a lot of potential, but they've just attached their whole brand identity to hype.
@0xZogG Well, the headline feature of their latest audio products was ChatGPT integration, and the CEO Carl Pei said during the Phone (2a) launch that the invention of AI was comparable to the invention of agriculture, which is frankly just an overstatement.
