As far as I understand #FreeTube, it does not download the files so that I may use my own video player which I prefer.

I also like that I don't see any recommendation which might pull me into a time-consuming video watch session.

So my rather primitive interface does come with some advantages compared to FreeTube I guess.

@publicvoit You can download the files, also only audio. Just select.

@mischa Don't get me wrong. FreeTube seems to be the more suited solution for the majority out there, no question.

To me, I only see downsides compared to my personal set of requirements.
