I know I'll be there to help. Planning to move to Yalta or Sevastopol in retirement to spend the rest of my days helping people learn English. And my social security checks will go toward supporting local businesses there however long that retirement lasts.
Say no more. Starting a personal boycott of Shell. How many years it'll last is up to them. I'm thinking a year for every month they keep supporting killing Ukrainian civilians.

An other thing is, did Pregozhin want to become president, or was there some unknown person or group of persons who were going to take over the political scene? I guess in either case it was important to seize Putin fast and
@AndersGottlieb@laurens I’m not sure what the plan was. I think Prigozhin would have a hard time getting support from the elite, so maybe someone else could enter the scene as president.

This can't be emphasized enough. Prigozhin's antics could be used by Putin to save face, to withdraw from Ukraine while blaming the failure of the special operation squarely on the treason of the exiled Wagner chief. A small force being able to march all the way from the front to Moscow is plenty of ammunition to push the narrative of needing to defend the country against invasion, to pull out of Ukraine to secure the homeland.
Russia will just fight to the death instead, wasting this golden opportunity to survive longer term.
