xuxebiko, in Estimated Russian losses from 24.02.2022 to 01.07.2023 (Day 493)

Just saw the yt short by markus on his unit having to sleep in a russian trench filled with corpses.

When the war is won, everyone in Ukraine is going to need intense therapy.

Harry,

This is why we don‘t do war anymore: the psychological damage lasts for generations.

xuxebiko,

to dictators like Putin, the psychological damage makes it extra tasty.

Nugget_in_biscuit,

Ukraine is about to have its own greatest generation. I take some solace in the fact that after they win, the world is going to give Ukraine enough money to rebuild

I know I'll be there to help. Planning to move to Yalta or Sevastopol in retirement to spend the rest of my days helping people learn English. And my social security checks will go toward supporting local businesses there however long that retirement lasts.

@kjr Rat bastard traitors, all of them.

xuxebiko, in 70 House Republicans voted to cut off all US military aid to Ukraine

70 Putin's agents outed themelves.

Harry,

This is the truth, and nothing else. They are all traitors.

Cosmical, in 70 House Republicans voted to cut off all US military aid to Ukraine

The best proof that sanctions work is that putin can now only afford just 70 politicians.

ImpressiveBarnacle,

The noose is getting tighter.

Harry, in In Bucha, a monument with the names of the victims of the massacre committed by the Russian army was erected.

Good. This must be commemorated, like all the other crimes against humanity committed by Russia in Ukraine.

Say no more. Starting a personal boycott of Shell. How many years it'll last is up to them. I'm thinking a year for every month they keep supporting killing Ukrainian civilians.

@laurens @anderspuck Very interesting video. You said the other day on TV, that it has been prepared for weeks or months. I would rather think months, as I dont think you just go to a shop and buy a pantsir s1 system or two. 😉 Maybe Osechkin is right when her said 8 months? An other thing is, did Pregozhin want to become president, or was there some unknown person or group of persons who were going to take over the political scene? I guess in either case it was important to seize Putin fast and

@laurens @anderspuck when he left Moscow, they decided to negotiate a deal, instead palying cat and mouse all over Russia. 😉

anderspuck,
@anderspuck@krigskunst.social avatar

@AndersGottlieb @laurens I’m not sure what the plan was. I think Prigozhin would have a hard time getting support from the elite, so maybe someone else could enter the scene as president.

AndersGottlieb,
@AndersGottlieb@krigskunst.social avatar

@anderspuck @laurens Maybe Prigozhin was waitng for a que from Medvedev, but he might have been too drunk to send it. 🤣

@anderspuck @laurens Interesting interview with one that Moscow had claimed was severely wounded or dead. Budanov thinks that the Wagnerites will slowly be sent to Africa.:

@anderspuck @laurens Or maybe he found out he had to be a week in quarentine and have a negative covid test to get close to Putin. 😉

chowderman,

@anderspuck @AndersGottlieb @laurens

Prigozhin was a pain in the arse for the top table for a long time.

At one stage it looked like he and General Armageddon were positioning themselves to take over.

Then Gerasimov was sent in to push Surovikin to one side, and Prigozhin sent to destroy his forces in Bakhmut.

Once Wagner were rendered anaemic from capturing Bakhmut, Shoigu moved to transfer Prigozhin’s army to the MOD.

Prigozhin had to move.

nobodyspecial, in 25 Jun: Ukrainians SEIZE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY BROUGHT BY WAGNER MUTINY | War in Ukraine Explained
nobodyspecial avatar

This can't be emphasized enough. Prigozhin's antics could be used by Putin to save face, to withdraw from Ukraine while blaming the failure of the special operation squarely on the treason of the exiled Wagner chief. A small force being able to march all the way from the front to Moscow is plenty of ammunition to push the narrative of needing to defend the country against invasion, to pull out of Ukraine to secure the homeland.

Russia will just fight to the death instead, wasting this golden opportunity to survive longer term.

Candoo,

Hopefully he would concede, but yeah. I doubt it, as it would possibly get him killed by his own orcs

Nice, I have become a big fan of Perun since the Russo-Ukrainian war started. I did not know I needed 1 hour power point presentations about defense logistics in my life, but apparently I did.
