Just deployed two new #Ubiquiti #unifi #U7-Pro access points to my home network to replace a #UAP-AC-LR and a #UAP-FlexHD. So far they seem to be working well.

I'm doing wireless mesh between the AP connected to the router and the AP in the back of the house. The connection isn't amazing (only getting 70mbps down from the meshed AP) but that's better than before.

These new AP are quite a bit bigger and heavier than my old ones.

I'll keep the old APs around for a little bit to make sure this setup is stable. Maybe I'll use the FlexHD as a third AP to help mesh better between the front and back of the house? We'll see.

If I owned this place, of course I would have Ethernet cables to all of the APs. Alas, I only rent.

@douglasvb I"ve got one of those in my house, I like them a lot, however -- like a lot of equipment -- the software requires login, Windows, and the internet to set up. There's probably a local option. I like the Ubiquiti hardware a lot better than the EnGenius I am trying out here at my temporary residence.
