The problem with so-called #dangerous#breeds is that the people who tend to own them are the exact people who shouldn't own them. They are people who tend to view their #dog as a threatening #statusSymbol. They tend to not have experience with the proper #training and #treatment, while simultaneously believing they are #experts. They tend to be younger males with a certain perspective on dogs, who raise their dogs in a manner likely to trigger #aggressive#behavior.
@slcw yeah, in all my experience with "dangerous breeds" they can be really sweet dogs. Young men who want a tough dog will get them because of their reputation and then consciously train them to be aggressive, it's a self fulfilling prophecy
