If you're ever in Ottawa, be sure to check out "A State of Rest" bronze figures by Brandon Vickerd along Strandherd Drive.

A sleepy fox, doe, squirrel, and raccoon can be found taking naps on benches. You'll have to look extra hard for the raccoon, that prankster seems to have slipped away from the pack.

Visit Brandon Vickerd's website with further details here: http://brandonvickerd.com/index#/a-state-of-rest

@AwattoAnalog well, I like these a lot more than the "Dwell" house on Greenbank.

@johnefrancis

I'm heading out that way sometime in the near future (this week?) to snap a picture of that too.

I'm also welcome to other unique and lesser known Ottawa sites, but they're hard to find after living here for a while. Most are well known sculptures downtown.

@AwattoAnalog maybe it would be more interesting if some sticky snow covered one surface? I find it kind of bland being painted in utilitarian rustproofing and hanging out 30ft in the air where it's to see.
