It was just last week that I learned about the history of the #Wizardry RPG series.
And now I know that #RPGMaker / #JRPG style fights are not actually a Japanese invention, but Wizardry's influence on Japanese gaming and pop culture.
I never particularly liked the front-facing battle screens, and now I know who and what to blame. Finally.
