@lithospheric So that's... 20Km southwest of central Reykjavik, less than 10Km from Keflavik (oops!), wind currently light and variable, steadying into a gently northerly by tomorrow morning.
While I'm sorry for the folk in Grindavik, it could be a lot worse; and judging by the lava flows you see all over that part of Reykjanes (and the name, for the matter of that!) not a hugely unusual event.
