@s1m0n4 Oh yes! Looking back, I made great progress on squats and general mobility. Especially for squatting, the kettlebell helped me a lot. I like to do the bottom up goblet squat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EGVKUH0K10&t=134s the rack squat and the deck squat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUJ3sZVwZ4Y&t=99s which is great to develop your close stance squat. Maybe you should give this a try.
