1Sauerlaender, This electrically operated ribbon loom from 1869 comes from Wuppertal-Ronsdorf and is now in the Open Air Museum Lindlar (Oberbergischer Kreis, West-Germany). Three generations of one family operated it until 1970. Since the second half of the 18th century, Ronsdorf was an important centre of ribbon weaving in the Bergisches Land (North Rhine-Westphalia).
As you can see, several ribbons can be woven at once.
