Varyag, 3 months ago Brutal Doom has an update in testing phase! I thought the dev was done, but he decided to do a big optimization update because this mod is extremely laggy in maps with a lot of enemies (and on phones, where a surprising amount of people main Doom) I'm playing it now and it feels really good, also feels nostalgic to me, given how much I played BD before, even if I notice some small differences like some weapon sprites or sounds.
