Most pagans celebrate the cycle of the seasons. The thing about circles is that they don't really have an end/beginning, so everyone has their own idea on when a new cycle begins for them.

What day do you consider the seasonal ‘New Year’ in your practice?

@Cat_LeFey I celebrate the seasonal new year on the autumn equinox so I went with Samhain. That’s also how i organize my planner and journal — i buy undated inserts for the calendar and fill them out in accordance to the autumn equinox. I also kinda see two “new years” in a solar year — your personal numerological year beginning on your birthday and the seasonal year starting on either the autumn equinox, winter solstice, etc. Good for me that my birthday is right after the equinox!
