Just remembered that I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of a car accident. It was relatively far away and I just went back to sleep, so I have no idea what happened. I do remember very specifically that I could hear pieces of the car hitting the ground, so I think it was probably pretty bad.

@willmcgugan Comment your code much more extensively than you probably think is necessary and take lots of notes. Do this for future you who absolutely will not remember what present you thinks you will. Do this even if it feels silly or unnecessary. Make sure to note why you’re doing a thing, not just what that thing is.

Newly noted Cybertruck feature: its rear quarterpanel slopes in fairly dramatically leaving the rear wheels relatively uncovered by the body. It also does not have any mud flaps or guards. I learned this yesterday in San Jose when the one that was to the right and slightly ahead of me shot a rock straight into my windshield.

What do y'all do to reduce shoulder strain from mouse use? I have frequent neck and shoulder pain (trapezius muscle) pain that I'm postive is because of mouse use. I have a full sized keyboard because I use the 10-key a lot, so my mouse is relatively far away, which makes me rotate my shoulder out to use it. I try to use my chair's armrests to take weight off my shoulders but that's not always helpful.

This is just baffling. OK, you think vaccinations are bad. But the disease still exists, and you have to mitigate it. If you’re not going to vaccinate, you have to take more non-vaccine mitigation measures not fewer. Just WTF?

Huge windstorm here today NorCal. 100s of thousands of people are without power. Mine has been out for a while, and I just got the call from the electrical utility saying that it might be out until tomorrow and “into next week” 😬😬😬

@nitpicking Absolutely. My post is in no way a criticism of the utility and its workers. In fact I’d rather go without power to keep them all safe. It’s just the scale of the storm damage is large, so it’s going to be a while until things are normal.
