As an 80s kid, Nickelodeon shows were my jam! πŸ“Ί But this new docuseries, "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" left me reeling. It exposes the disturbing allegations of abuse and toxic behavior behind some of those iconic shows. This was a tough watch, but it's important.

Snuck in that oil change yesterday during my hour between shifts. Engine light is off this morning! Now, to find out why I was 2qt low on oil and still 160 miles til my quoted oil change ready date. Happy Tuesday, Mastadonians!

@cliffwade I’m semi back at it. Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit - and of course juggling two jobs and the kiddos and the website. Time is limited for everything for sure!

@cliffwade nah, I still have it!! When I was younger I would have sold it but now I know the potential those cameras bring from time to time. They’ve both paid for themselves over time and continue to earn me at least a little bit here and there. I just wish I could find a way to make it consistent!

@cliffwade Thursday nights/Friday mornings are rough, too. I get the kiddos from their mom overnight, so I drive 41 miles to get them directly after work. Then 41 miles back home. Friday morning I make that same drive and have to be to work by 730 am.

@cliffwade for a very nominal wage at that lol. But my foot is in the door at ISU and it seems to be a good place to work. So there’s that! In my old age I have started exercising my patience and finding the good in situations.

@cliffwade it’s been a pretty good day here! Cleaned the kitchen and made breakfast for the family, now I’m just relaxing and enjoying the day off! Gotta make the 80 mile voyage to drop the boys off a little later.
