@65dBnoise my favourites for tosol are the navcam panoramas, maybe it's the horizon distortion but it's such a different feeling to see the height difference between the channel and the upper fan from this side... Once again, what a hundred meters do to one's perception 🤯

@65dBnoise I'm sure you've seen it, but for completeness: there's another bright one further to the left (https://mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/multimedia/raw-images/ZL0_1164_0770275017_909EBY_N0524312ZCAM03911_0340LMJ)

I see similarities too on that other one in @stim3on 's treatment (https://fosstodon.org/@stim3on/112519341200252355), only it's has more dusty faces. These clearly bright ones maybe have been "recently" displaced

This Memorial Day added an interesting twist to the daily grind of 🙂 Not only did it clear the rest of the rego-ripples it had to the north, but took advantage of the holiday to go on a picnic at a nice hill to the northeast 😀 🙃. Apparently the hill has a geological story to tell and the team's geologists are eager to hear it.

The path is a wild guess.

@65dBnoise your Ubuntu needs updating 😉

That was indeed interesting, because the hill(s) haven't looked much more than remnant scree, but there sure is comparative work to be done.

Tosol's ~17m drive brought the rover right where those ripples start. The dark area is where #Ingenuity will be hidden from our remote prying eyes.
