It's interesting to see people so upset with Marques Brownlee . Maybe his and video titles contain some hyperbole, but to me those videos point out a real problem with consumerism.

So many people purchase tech based on potential or promised features. Tesla is to blame for a lot of that — maybe Apple to a lesser extent.

If you test drive an , base your purchasing decision on the idea that that car would stay exactly the same until you’re ready to purchase the next one.

@cory Yeah. The titles really lack any kind of nuance, but if you watch the videos, all of his points are totally valid. That Humane pin is $700. That's insane when there is so much overlap with what your phone/watch probably already do better.

@gedeonm I would love one of these. I have a ’22 SEL AWD. Overall the car has been amazing, but this update fixes almost every gripe I have with the car.

“The IONIQ Guy” speculated it could be out in the US this summer, but I would imagine they'd want to clear out inventory first.

I have the opportunity to do a redesign of a very large site that I built about 5 years ago and have maintained since. Looking to brush up on the newer / that’s available to me for . The current site was built with and was not even an option at the time. Would love to move to for most things and get the most out of flexbox that I can.

Looking for good resources, if anyone knows of any.

@_ohcoco_ @teomatteo89 It's even more complicated. Sometimes a show will be on multiple services and you have to determine which one makes the most sense to have. I made the mistake of getting AMC+ to watch Monsieur Spade, which is also on Acorn. AMC+ doesn't have a whole lot, unless you're into the whole zombie thing.

Fast approaching the end of #Zelda. Last night after the latest bloodmoon I teleported all around Hyrule and the Depths picking off Lynells one by one by one, all while barely losing a heart.

When the Demon hands show up I’m like… yummie! and wipe them off the map.

Been putting off the final battle trying to complete ALL quests but it’s getting boring. Might have to just end it. 😓

@arstechnica Is it just me or is this story lacking some info? How much of an improvement is this from before? How many kWh is the battery pack? If it’s the 135kWh pack, that’s ~3mi/kWh. Not exactly amazing.

  1. Why is it that people who smoke are always asking me if I have a lighter? ...you’re the one who smokes? Seems like a thing you should carry.

  2. “What can I get you?” A cappuccino would be great.” “Small, medium, or large?” ...what.

@louie regarding your second point. I hate having to ask if the larger sizes are just more milk. The answer is almost always “yes.” That’s not how it works.
