@talala I believe that was the latest version—we didn't think it needed updating past that. But to be honest, we haven't tested it lately! We'll see if we can find the time to check it out.

@panic is there a way to open a directory in a new Nova window using the CLI? If you just do nova <directory> it will open in an existing instance of Nova

@BrendanThompson Currently, this is determined by a system pref: System Settings > Desktop & Dock > "Prefer tabs when opening documents". If this is set to "Always", or if Nova is in full-screen and the pref is set to "In Full Screen", opening a project or directory will open it in a tab instead of a window.

We'll see about adding a Nova pref to control this on an app level.

https://Nova.app tip: if you turn on Rainbow Brackets in Preferences>Editor, they make long, nested expressions easier to parse, and they help you make sure you've closed all the open brackets 🚪

https://Nova.app tip: you can show color swatches for any colors on that line, in the gutter or right in the code. Clicking it will give you a nice visual editor for picking the color, as well as changing how it's defined. Very handy for those bright p3 colors! 🌈

🏢 Later this year, Panic will be moving into a brand new office! It's a little bit smaller (hybrid work) and a little bit nicer (new building) and we're excited We'll still be in Portland, conveniently just one block away from our current office.

(And don't worry, we'll still have a Panic Sign — https://sign.panic.com — somehow!)

① Steve and Cabel in a loft space on Belmont (spacious, bad neighbor)
② Steve and Cabel in a two-bedroom apartment on NW 19th (eventually, Dave and Ian worked the living room)
③ First actual office in the Gregory building on NW 10th (small, cozy, too many solicitors)
④ Current office on SW Burnside & 11th across from Powell's Books (roof deck, triangles, Panic Sign!)

@notsle The plan is, there should never be a Prompt 4, now that we’re getting recurring revenue for Prompt 3. So while we never truly know what the future will bring, you should not have to pay for Prompt again.
