Important step in the enforcement of the Digital Markets Act: The EU Commission today announced the 22 platform services that will have to comply with the DMA from March 2024.

Until then, the Commission must ensure that sufficient staff are available for enforcement and that third parties are actively involved. Only then can the #DMA be a success!

In less than a week, EU Council responded to our access to documents request and published the four-column document (4CT) of the trilogue negotiations on the regulation on transparency and targeting of political advertising.

In the past, these documents have often only been made available after the end of negotiations, too late.

Hopefully this will set a precedent for the handling of 4CT documents in the future.
