Im Urlaub werde ich mal wieder richtig schön was mit #LoRaWAN basteln. So der Plan.

@thomas Welche Gateways sind denn die? Hab schon eine ganze Menge testen muessen. Aber ausser den alten Dragino gateways hab ich noch keine gefunden die nicht funzen. Zumindest mit dem UDP Forwarder - nicht mit neueren BasicStation Forwarder.

@thomas Hatten leider dasselbe Problem down under. Viele Gemeinden die frueh investiert hatten wurden leider nicht upgraded. Die Gateways waeren OK gewesen. Aber die Mittel oder Leute waren dafuer nicht mehr da.

@thomas Leider haben die "oeffentlichen" LoRaWAN Netzwerke nach dem anfaenglichen Enthusiasmus sehr abgeflacht. Kein Incentive die Hardware zu warten.

Ich hoffe immer noch das sich ein Weg findet. Token-basierende Incentives haben leider bisher nur zur Spekulation und weniger zu einem verlaesslichen oeffentlichen Netz gefuehrt.

Aber hab noch nicht aufgegeben. Waere fuer mich ein ideales "Platform Cooperative", die Praxis ist halt hart. Aber nur die Harten kommen durch 🙂
