Today, I discovered my LG washer and dryer have both become disconnected from my wifi network, and to tell you I have never experienced rage until I realized I was going to have to troubleshoot my washer and dryer's fucking wifi connections would be a horrifying understatement.
@anniegreens In all seriousness—and I truly hate that I am defending putting our washer and dryer on our wifi network—they'll send notifications to our phones when their cycles are done, which can be helpful. Additionally, when they're on the network, the washer can tell the dryer what drying cycle to use based on the cycle the washer just ran.
To answer the obvious follow-up question: yes, I do feel embarrassed having typed all that out.
@robb@bendaubney@anniegreens IN MY DEFENSE, the notifications for when the cycles are done are nice and also it’s nice that the dryer knows what cycle we just ran on the washer.
Is that worth LG having access to my WiFi network? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
To all you aspiring game makers out there, a warning: do not be like @helvetica and try to swindle me into praising your awesome and delightful game, Pile-Up Poker.
@bendaubney@sarajw I just fist-pumped the air while sitting alone in my office because I figured out why a font wasn't loading. So that's how my Thursday morning is going.
More elaborately: I had pointed the src url to ('fonts/fontname.woff2'), but didn't consider that the fonts folder is in my css folder so it should've been ('css/fonts/fontname.woff2')
