I'm probably going to get bullied of the platform for this, but I've been using Bluesky instead of masto and honestly the only thing I miss is the bigger character limit. When I first came here over a year ago I had great convos, but now the platform seems to be mostly Linux or masto elitism and no one has convos. Like my posts get tons of likes but who cares, this isn't Twitter, I'm here to chat not get clout. Bsky has provided the social part of social media in a way masto hasn't been anymore

@heyfluxay yeah it's interesting because that's what I hear from people here who've tried it. I originally made it for my twitch streams because people told me it's good for that, but my stream posts get no traction at all, but I've been having great convos about wrestling and makeup and stuff which are my main interests lol.

@heyfluxay yeah that's how Bsky works, I followed a wrestling feed, retro gaming, and makeup, and have already made new friends from two of those. The retro gaming one is a bit meh though

@heyfluxay yeah if you want retro games then theres a feed for it, and you could probably find one more for modern gaming. I'm sure there are for whatever tech youre looking for too. The feeds are weird but now I'm understanding them more it's actually a really cool feature

@heyfluxay yeah I've only been on Bsky for a couple weeks and only seriously using it for about a week now, so I've no idea what it was like before. It's also still missing a lot of things that it shouldn't be, like animated gifs and videos

So a serious question: what is the moral stance on streaming a game like a Law and Order game? Like is it cool if I had a warning about copaganda and making sure my acab stance is known? Or is it still too morally bad? I don't even know if I'd want to stream a game like that, I just thought of it.

Just saw a video about this, there was almost an iomega Zip drive from Dreamcast. It was shown at some trade shows and they said it was intended for dlc for games like Phantasy Star Online and Quake III Arena, but was obviously cancelled. #Sega #RetroGaming
