I'm currently putting together a list of queer-specific resources for a work placement on a queer housing team, and I need your help!

This is geographically-limited to Victoria, Australia, and I need e v e r y t h i n g you can get your hands on. Everything from housing (Pride in Place etc), medical care (both gender-affirming and general), mental health, food and necessities of daily living support, disability support, and social groups. Any organisation or group that provides culturally safe services to queer people, I want it all!

I can chip in a bit from my knowledge of the East Grampians area but other than that I know fuck-all. This list will probably end up distributed across community organisations across Victoria, and your knowledge will help queer people in need far and wide.

Legit though, it was a genuinely affirming experience.

Men's friendships just straight up aren't like that. There's an amount of sharing, but there's always this distance in it.

The "women's oversharing club" is more about solidarity through life's shitty experiences, where men's support networks tend to be more about individual empowerment and solving practical problems.

Both are fine, but I much prefer being included in women's circles.

so it turns out there's a distinct possibility i've been drinking so much tea that i'm making myself anaemic (I'm vegetarian).

Unfortunately, Teenage Joans imo seem to be better in studio; their recent album is easily my top pick for best album of the year. They seemed to have a clear creative vision about the performance, then "broke character" a number of times and struggled to maintain their set's momentum. Also, Wine is not a song that works as an acoustic number.

The crowd was obnoxious too. People not being aware of their surroundings and shoving their way past mid-set, two separate people spilled drinks on me without apology, and someone grabbed my ass.
