And I do actually have a loom! I haven't used this one yet and only have a little experience weaving, but I do have a loom. I'm pretty sure it's one that's made for kids, too.
We're gonna do like, square checks in a few shades of green and tapestry weave a creeper face in there.
@geraineon I have not heard of any 5 year olds doing this, although apparently someone in my 7yo's class has a youtube channel (don't know the subject/content)

The first four chapters of this have a really excellent translation. After that... well, it's not the worst I've read. But I do wish the other translator had continued.

Romance is NOT at the forefront of this novel so far, which is fine (and not unexpected, given this is by the author of Little Mushroom).
There's two storylines--Lin Xun's cultivation and Lin Xun's startup--and they're clearly connected somehow but right now they're mostly happening separately, and currently the cultivation story is taking the forefront while the ml is more on the startup side of things. #CultivatingInC
I do have to say I'm hoping the "my leet hacker skillz make me totally op" arc will be over soon. I was led to believe there's more to the book than that.
This morning I am sitting at a window seat at the bike path cafe, enjoying a salad, tea, and a delicious cookie, and planning to head to the library when I'm done. Unfortunately it has started raining.
