So this is the first draft I unveiled tonight on #Twitch, with plenty more improvements of the stickers I plan to bring to @defcon and trying to keep in line with their theme this year. It's a variation of my Renegade Tux logo I have used for many years as I do gaming on Linux and cybersecurity content.

This was just a fun idea my best friend and I had as I wanted to take part in the sticker culture this year

I’m very close to finishing my personal laptop which is using @QubesOS on my @purism Librem 14. I just have to rotate passwords and setup my @bitwarden and @protonprivacy email and password manager. I even have @yubico for most of my TOTP. Need to sync Monero, login to various account and move my passwords from KeePassXC and I plan to keep my work, personal, and TOTP in separate systems.

I’m at work and someone opened a new ticket saying their issue is still persisting.

Well obviously it is as I reached out three times for a response over a period of a week and a half and got no response on the information I needed.

When will end users understand if you want your stuff fixed and we reach out for info that means give us the damn info we need to fix the issue.

So tomorrow is going to suck I need upgrade my PfSense firewall and apparently there is a bug that requires a reinstall to get it fixed as the partition was too small. Then I can get around to setting up @protonprivacy and @bitwarden but I am keeping @keepassxc for the TOTP MFA, because I don’t want to store those in the same password manager. Also rotating all passwords and setting up new Yubikeys then migrating from Ledger to Trezor

It took some tinkering but got @QubesOS reinstalled during my #Twitch stream on my @purism Librem 14. Had to rework some of the steps based off documentation to get the #Monero with wallet isolation going. Basically grabbed the tar ball and extracted it to a folder in the template Qube and then had the systemd run that. VPN is setup with @mullvadnet and I am loving the GUI updates to Qubes now marking Dark mode easier except for a few places. #infosec

sigh I think I have to backup my PfSense firewall in my home, and then completely reinstall it. Updates are failing and citing lack of disk space. Looking into it this was apparently an issue with older installs of PfSense and the automatic partitioning. So guess I will do a backup, and then make notes, and also redo my blocklists as I was wrongfully blocking too many things. Although it was fun to see @ylove struggle

I plan to speak to my attorney to engage him on the TikTok scams using my content and imagery to push cryptocurrency and stock scams.

Since all of them are using my custom logo that I have the rights to as a friend made it for me as a commission. That’s my way to take these down.

I also need to engage him on some family matters. I’ve known him for a few years and hopefully can work out a tenable arrangement on both matters.

I may potentially scrap the idea of hosting my own restreamer for restream.io due to costs. I do plan to simulcast to Twitch, Tiktok, Youtube, and Owncast probably after #DEFCON.

TikTok will go direct from OBS to TikTok as it’s vertical format but the rest all use the same horizontal format.

I plan to use a tool to merge all platform chats to the same window for myself so I can see TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, and Owncast messages in one window.

There's so much fear in the fediverse about bad admins/mods, and honestly it's no different to the days where we had forums with bad admins/mods.

The problem is that largely for the past decade people have been in walled gardens either never thinking of moderation, or actively needing to work against moderation to exist.

And you didn't have a choice, because you were locked into that provider & their moderation policies.
