Debian steuplé explique moi c'est quoi le rapport entre Evolution et Gnome-shell et pourquoi la suppression de l'un doit nécessairement impliquer la suppression de l'autre ?
Et pourquoi le meta-paquet de Gnome inclut aussi LibreOffice t'as rien de plus lourd comme logiciel à désinstaller en post-install steuplé ?
Et si je veux juste un Gnome minimal je peux me brosser et installer les paquets au petit bonheur la chance ?

Pourquoi t'es chiant, Debian ?

Par contre chose amusante en réinstallant Gnome j'ai la session wayland qui s'est débloquée sur le PC avec le GPU Nvidia

Les mails qui se synchronisent n'importe comment, la "Boite aux lettres unifiées" qui unifie que dalle, la récupération des nouveaux mails en tâche de fond complètement erratique.
Ça dégage, pas le time pour ces âneries

@kouett Mutt j'ai jamais réussie à le faire fonctionner mais je le trouve marrant, par contre je risque d'avoir le même problème avec lui qu'avec Thunderbird, c-à-d l'impossibilité de les faire tourner en tâche de fond (avec autostart silencieux, et non Birdtray n'est pas une bonne solution pour moi parce que Wayland).

Roundcube fatalement même problème mais à la rigueur je serais presque tentée de l'installer sur mon petit serveur local (voir mon RPi 3B le jour où je choppe une nouvelle carte SD) ça peut être rigolo.

Non pour le coup, pour moi un bon client ce serait plutôt genre Geary du côté de Gnome. Minimaliste mais fait son job pénard dès le démarrage de la session sans emmerder son monde.
Ou alors l'autre candidat à peu près correct serait Mailspring, mais c'est du Electron quoi, j'suis pas fan.

(K9 par contre je m'en sers sur mon tel et ouais, il est top)

On my 'Debian + Gnome' install I like to use Geary as my mail client, but on 'Arch + KDE' I have absolutely no idea what I should use 🤔 (I don't like Thunderbird on Linux for the complete lack of systray and Kontact/kMail never worked for me)

@PhieLaidMignon C'est typiquement pour ça que le jour où je serais capable de développer un quetru je veux le faire avec Rust + Tauri (+ Servo si possible à terme), comme ça j'ai un backend bien solide mais j'aurais surtout un gros frontend de zinzin avec des animations qui veulent rien dire :blob_rave:

Pro-tip for ppls who watch a lot of #Twitch streams on their Android TV device:
Forget about the bad joke that is the official app, S0undTV is a surprisingly good alternative client that is much more configurable, more stable while also having much more features
I just discovered it very recently and I'm really happy with it :blob_cat:
