Who do you think will win the presidential election, and who do you WANT to win?

SirBemrose,

@volkris @mk @freemo Imagine being so lost in your own ideological bubble that you think the 2020 election was fair, or in any way reflected the will of the public rather than the deepstate.

SirBemrose,

@freemo

The difference, of course, is that one side has mountains of evidence (that you'd never see if you only watch corporate media), and the other side has the fraudulent Steele Dossier. But hey, keep thinking they're somehow equivalent if it makes you feel better.

"Birds aren't real" exists so that people will take "Flat Earth" more seriously.

When do we start talking about reparations to the people who were right all along about the COVID hoax?

The public goal of every labor union is anticompetitive price fixing in the economic market for human labor. They are anathema to free trade.

The unstated but aggressively sought goal of most labor unions is raw political and ideological activism, without regard to the desires or benefit of the members whose hard work is being exploited to push that agenda.

I will never willingly join a union.

SirBemrose,

@wjmaggos Free trade.

In an ideal world, if you're good at your job and not being treated well, then you leave and get a different job. The easier it is to get rid of underperformers, the less risk mgmt takes on by extending a job offer, and the easier it is to get a new job.

See places like Europe, where it's nearly impossible to fire someone, and also unreasonably difficult to get a job. Same with unionized vs non-unionized shops in my industry.

SirBemrose,

@wjmaggos Of course, we're not in an ideal world; people are taught they are entitled to keep their current job. Changing jobs is met with fear and anxiety, and people will fight tooth and nail to stay in a bad job rather than try to find a better one.

No clue who this woman is, but I do know she's a moron and probably a bitch to boot.

"Options are good" as a response to people complaining about easy mode (and usually, the lack of an hard mode) is virtue signaling bullshit

"Options are good", but fuck you, fuck YOUR wanted option. You don't get to have it, but people that don't actually want to play the game will and you should be glad that people who don't want to play the fucking game can

It's a virtue signaling consolation prize in defense of the corp actually not giving the time of day to the people who actually want to play the game. It's absolutely simpery

SirBemrose,

@coolboymew Fuck mode select. Dev console or GTFO

The 14th amendment's insurrectionist clause says anyone who "shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion" against the US is ineligible to be President.

What the Colorado SC didn't bother to prove under any rules of evidence is whether or not Trump did that. Leftists seem to take it as an axiom. I believe the evidence does not support that conclusion, and that any honest court would agree with me.

What remains to be seen is whether we have any honest courts remaining in this country.

SirBemrose,

@FullTimeSailor Given information publicly available, the accusation is laughable and should be dismissed with prejudice. If non-public evidence exists, a politically biased prosecutor would have used it in the last three years.

@wjmaggos is correct I shouldn't stereotype all leftists. Apologies.

I don't have a term for the morally-bankrupt politically-motivated bureaucrats who seem to think "getting" Trump justifies cheating, lying, fabricating evidence, and limiting voters' options.

SirBemrose,

@realcaseyrollins
Ignorance is understandable and easily forgivable for those who want to learn. It's the people who pair it with arrogance that need a good bitchslapping.

Unfortunately, I think social media brings out the arrogant side of a lot of ignorant people.

SirBemrose, to random

Sometimes, in a fit of hopeless optimism, I try to engage someone online in a rational and intellectually stimulating argument.

The vast majority of the time, I go away disappointed. Most people on social media, being the products of public education, are incapable of critical thinking and rational discourse and instead lead with their feelings.

You'd think I'd eventually learn and give up. But rarely, I encounter another intelligence, and the ensuing arguments can be extremely enlightening.

SirBemrose,

@wjmaggos Not all of you, no.

SirBemrose, to random

"If unregulated “disinformation” were really the threat that governments pretend it to be, you would expect to see public schools teach the critical thinking skills necessary to arm citizens to combat the supposed monstrous surge in unsanctioned propaganda. From the beginning of a pupil’s education, rational argument would be distinguished from logical fallacy. Reason and rigorous investigation would be valued over emotional and subjective appeals to feelings."

It is said that "snow" is so ubiquitous in eskimo culture that their language has a dozen words for it.

So it also is with "envy" in marxist culture. When socialist uses the words "Equity", "Equality", or especially "Justice", the central emotion is envy. They are jealous of other people, want what they have, and constantly invent new words to justify taking it for themselves.

Don't give in to the redefinition of words by Social Envy Warriors.

Propaganda sign 317: "Linked"

eg: "Donald Trump has been linked to Adolf Hitler"

Used without explanation, the propagandist is trying to make a mental connection between two concepts in your brain

The actual "link" is always left unspecified in this propaganda, nebulous, and often completely fictional. But by simply putting two concepts in the same sentence, you have now made the mental association.

The most nefarious lie told to transgendered people is that it's possible to "pass" as the other gender.

Just one more expensive cosmetic surgery (then another, and then one more after that), and you can have a body like you were born to your preferred gender. They tell each other this lie, and doctors reinforce it on their way to a paycheck.

Of course anyone outside the bubble can tell it's not true.

This, more than anything, sets them up for a lifetime of depression and disappointment.

So let me get this straight. Due to the 500 character limit, noagendasocial has always been terrible for any argument or discussion deeper than a talking point. And now we're banning memes too?

What's left, knock-knock jokes?

Democrat mayors: "Help! Stop sending all these illegals. Our city can't handle it. We have a policy of giving each and every person who arrives a penthouse apartment and a brand new car, and it's stretching our budget! It's not fair that you keep sending them!!!!"

SirBemrose, to random

Your insistence that there's "no evidence" of election fraud rings somewhat hollow when it's your side suppressing and destroying that evidence.

SirBemrose, to random

The trouble with woke Democrat prosecutors is that once they are elected (appointed? installed?), their department simply refuses to do its job. The outcome is despicable, but you have to admire the tactic.

Imagine if CPS refused to kidnap people's children. If the IRS refused to steal from taxpayers If the EPA wouldn't shut down businesses, or a legislature refused to pass bad laws.

The real problem is that prosecuting criminals is one of the FEW things gov't does that is a societal good.

Ink being spilled about Canada requiring companies that host podcasts must be "registered". Assuming even half of it is true (I'm always skeptical), it's fortunately unenforcable. The podcast technology is decentralized; anyone can simply upload an mp3 and RSS file anywhere on the web. Not even the Canadian bureaucracy is prepared to "register" every site on the internet.

Thank you, @adam for making the most censorship-resistant medium since usenet. Your contribution to freedom is appreciated.
