My toot about kisses in Kdramas made me look up the (first) kiss scene in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and now I want to rewatch that whole drama again. It’s so damn good, easily one of my favourite. (And I’ve already watched it three times!)

I'm making the kiddo mittens and I've learnt a valuable crochet lesson. When doing two identical pieces maybe do the first few rows of each one after the other 😬 I now can't remember how I interpreted the instructions because the video skips weirdly so will have to hope for the best & fingers crossed they end up looking similar enough that if I do mess up no one sees! #crochetuk #CrochetAdventure

I finished King The Land which was really good but now I’m at a loss as to what to watch next. I’m considering Boys Over Flowers as I’ve never seen it and I really like Lee Min Ho but I’m not sure I want to commit to 25 episodes.

Does anyone have any other recommendations? Preferably something romantic or something involving revenge.

2 sleeps to go until moving day!!!
Today I will mostly be seeing what else I can pack without leaving everyone with no clothes to wear 😅
We pick the removal van up this evening so tomorrow afternoon we will be loading it up ready for an early start on Saturday! Very exciting!

I love cuddling but I can’t be the small spoon in bed. I’m okay for a bit but then I get annoyed feeling my husband’s breath on my bare back. Especially when he falls asleep and his breath deepens. Luckily he also loves it when I’m the big spoon so it works out fine.

Less than a week to go until my trip to Japan and I’m equal parts excited and nervous. Not sure why I’m nervous though, but it’s far away and I’ll be solely responsible for my son so maybe that’s why. I’m well prepared though so I’m sure we’ll have a blast.

I hate how much I always overthink everything. I’ve been deliberating for weeks now about what day bag to bring to Japan. A backpack will hold more, but will it make me look to much like a tourist? I never really care about how I look. I tend to focus on convenience so not sure why this is such a big deal for me.

On a brighter note, I’m watching What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and I absolutely love it. Kang Ki-young is in it as the dorky friend and I love him in this role. He has great range, as he was SUCH a good baddie in The Uncanny Counter 2 but he’s so loveable as the friend in this one.

I’m so exhausted! Travelled for work last week and worked all weekend on a project my manager decided was suddenly due on Sunday. And then she cancelled the meeting on Sunday 😩. I have to get better at setting boundaries, because I escaped North American hustle culture for a reason and I’m not going to get sucked in again.

I felt SO exhausted all day. Just moved through the day sluggishly with my only high point the return of my husband and youngest son.

Almost decided not to write tonight on account of being too tired, but then made myself do it anyway. An hour and 1600 words later and I feel completely rejuvenated. I do need to go to bed but my bone deep exhaustion is gone. I must do more of this writing!

My husband and youngest are home again! They were full of stories and happiness from a holiday well spent, it was lovely to see. It was a great bonding time for them as well. I’m super happy to have them home now. 💜

On leaving the lake yesterday I decided not to put my bra back on and just pulled on a strappy vest top and cutoff jeans. The journey back to East Berlin took about an hour on busy trains and I was reminded how many people are visibly upset by braless breasts, particularly large ones. It’s really unpleasant. Berliners are given to staring anyway, but this was different- quite aggressively disdainful, mostly from women, and left me feeling quite vulnerable and despondent after a lovely day.
