DuckDuckGo ist in den letzten Monaten so schlecht geworden, dass ich immer häufiger "nochmal bei Google gucke" und dort fündig werde.

Ich will aber nicht "bei Google gucken".

Kennen hier Menschen eine gute Suchmaschine?

Also gute Ergebnisse und kein ekliger AI-BigTech-Moloch?

@milan yes. I used it for a long time and was happy with the results, recently I had two double check on google way, way more than I’m used, too.

And google had relevant, non-AI hits where I found nothing of interest on DuckDuckGo.

@tante A colleague of mine, born and for a long time living in Barcelona, told me that during lockdowns in 2020 the people felt like finally the city belonged to them again.

And not to tourists.

    @jynersolives @bmalsuj This is a very good description of what Chibnall in the end didn’t work. thank you!

    In theory a lot of concepts are cool on the drawing board, but the execution was extremely poor and completely without heart.

    Which not only did Yaz and the Doctor dirty, but also Jodie Whitaker, who I enjoyed extremely in that role. In fact I finally started watching due to her.

    @jynersolives @bmalsuj however, I have to politely disagree on two other points:

    1. I think RTD does build on Chibnall too, because the resolution on being with family has foundations in 13 and her “fam”. While a found family theme was there before I never seen it quite so explicit before.

    2. The doll scene only iterates Moffat companions, because Chibnell companions are all alive, which undercuts the toymakers point so he leaves them out.

    That all female Moffat companions are dead in one convoluted way or another to me points to one of Moffats biggest writing flaws: writing for interesting women with good arcs.

    I still feel Yaz has been done dirty though.

    @heiseonline in jede journalistische Einordnung irgendeiner Ankündigung von Elon Musk gehört, dass er seit 20 Jahren mit all seinen Firmen ein Ankündigungsweltmeister ist, der nie liefert.

    Ein klassischer Con-Man, ein Betrüger.

    Es gibt keinen Grund ihm irgendeine Ankündigung zu irgendwas zu glauben.

    Völlig unabhängig davon was man von LLMs hält.

    @tagesschau vielleicht machen wir die Corona-Impfung dann einfach wieder zur Kassenleistug für alle?

    Haben halt nicht alle die knapp 50€ bei der Hand sich impfen zu lassen.

    Würde auch den Risikogruppen helfen. So wie es auch den Risikogruppe hilft wenn mehr Menschen Maske tragen.

    Maybe #Microsoft could waste less money on dicking around with "AI" an spend a few bucks to fix their fucking abysmal OneDrive app? Dropbox had that shit figured out years ago (and then messed it all up to "grow").

    Workflow: Copy a .docx file into my OneDrive. It gets synced to the cloud. I now can no longer edit the local file on my machine in my OneDrive space because "Permissions changed" or whatever. Fucking useless.

    Because my parents at divorced and both founded a new family.
