Maybe I do an "ask a tiefling / wood elf" sesh sometime with Vulpine and me. It seems like a silly fun time but someone would probably ask for feet pics again. -_-
@tieflingdiotima how do I favorite this without it seeming like I am favoriting the feet pic part rather than the AMA part, which the favorite would be about.
#reading
Started watching the videos of a booktuber. What I like about her is that instead of roasting and hating books, she mostly presents books which she loves.
And I really appreciate this approach.
However, it seems we have a different book taste. I read a novel she recommended, but to me the pacing was too slow. She also loves a classic novel which I didn't finish, because most of the characters are horrible people.

@amalia12 A sad reality of content creation is that rage bait is extremely, extremely effective. Want reach? Hate on something, be negative. You'll attract both sides of the discussion and likely get responses made trying to prove you wrong, etc.
It sucks. Glad you found someone not just in it for the clicks!
I want to have more counterpart cultures than just European ones in my setting in order to have better representation in my setting, but this also includes a high risk of screwing them up.
Consider, for example, developing counterpart cultures of the North American #FirstNations - getting names and terms right would be a massive challenge, since there aren't enough written sources for working LLMs for most of their languages.
If it's any high fantasy setting like #dnd I doubt it'd be much of an issue, especially in a homebrew setting. It's all a mishmash of stuff from many cultures and stereotypes anyway.
Instead of considering it on a global scale of how "wrong" you might get something, just be inspired by what you learn about them and homebrew your own version it.
@juergen_hubert I think that's a very good goal. Only way to achieve that is to dive into the history of these cultures and really read up on them using sources that are generally seen as good sources within those cultures.
Maybe an LLM might help provide a list of such literature at the very least.
@dedalusroot I know exactly how, subscribe to my patreon for only 199,99/month to sign up for my 12 step monthly course on "How capitalism will end with subscription models and HOW YOU CAN MAKE 1.000.000$$$!"
@dedalusroot Hey now, give me some more credit! I'll put three videos with an AI written script, lose interest and push my drop shipped mega-cups with funny slogans like "I really enjoy coffee, haha!" instead.
@dedalusroot It's grim, but there's still lots and lots of wars to look forward to, as well as corporate gaslighting about how you just need to separate your trash harder and the planet will be saved!
@schrodingerchan Also, also, consider posting (and then pinning) an #introduction post to help even more people find you and get an idea what you're about here :)
@schrodingerchan You're very welcome, always happy to see this place grow and flourish: I've met many amazing artists on this platform, you'll feel right at home, I am sure!
Highly nitpicky #5E question: Would a Monk's healing abilities through harnessing Ki be considered a natural source of healing or more magical? I am struggling to find a good source on what exactly it would be counted as.
Pues otro curro en el que no me cogen (y en este caso tenía la sensación de que iba a ir bien)~
Por lo menos esta vez me han avisado. Por whatstapp, pero me han avisado~
@reisutheowl I bet you'll land something soon! I've shared your commission prices around as well, but I don't think anyone is looking in my circles at the moment.
Next time I am going to be a player in a campaign, I'll 100% come to you for a commission.
Are you looking for something art related with your job search?
@reisutheowl It's very smart to do. I got a regular job as well, which will likely remain the main source of income for me for years to come, if not indefinitely. If I could live off of live streaming or other projects some day, heck, I would. But until then, got to be ground down a bit by capitalism until the goal is reached.
Just don't give up on the art due to the trials and tribulations of day to day stress. You're far too good at what you do for that already!
