So the Black man that everyone was laughing at for dialing in to his court case from his car, while his license was suspended, is not so foolish. Racism has people laughing at its victims.

@mekkaokereke this case made it into international media without the context you provided below. You can't blame people for not knowing the judicial system in a certain state is rigged in this way.

I'm glad you elaborated, because I learned something, but this is contextual information that truly matters and it's really the news outlets' responsibility to do due diligence here.

I'd call that ableist, but honestly not even people with average intelligence are adequately equipped for the challenge, as evidenced by the current age of misinformation.

@jbaert ik ben zo technisch gezien nog geld schuldig aan Vorst Nationaal.

Lang verhaal kort, de bank had een nieuwe kaart opgestuurd en ik had die niet ontvangen dus was me van geen kwaad bewust en gwn verder oude kaart gebruikt.

Die is gestopt met werken op concert Nova Twins en Yungblud maar de madam achter de dranktoog zei "komt wel goe da biept wel" toen het lang begon te duren en ik ben vertrokken met mijn drank.

Pas de dag erna in een andere zaak ontdekt dat kaart écht niet meer werkte

  • bij ons moest ge er anders aan denken om zelf ook es ne pak mee te brengen
  • als ik een mok pak op m'n werk is die koud voor ik nen tweede slok heb gedaan
  • als ge met kinderen werkt hebben die niet door dat het koffie is

Ik heb een nieuwe job, en wat voor eentje!

Ik mag me het aanspreekpunt noemen van BrAP Kids en daarmee kinderen met (vermoeden van) handicap en hun ouders helpen wegwijs maken in het complexe Brusselse zorglandschap om hen zo goed mogelijk te omkaderen en empoweren. Ik mag ter plaatse gaan op scholen en het netwerk verder uitbouwen. Een hele uitdaging, maar ik denk ook iets dat enorm veel voldoening gaat geven!

@TheSpaceshipper thanks for the info on the mod thing. I still enjoy games but my finger and wrist joints protest at having to respond quickly these days and this one's still in my backlog. This way at least I can be sure that I can also enjoy it at my current skill level without any frustrations.

@philipdutre @nxadm @simondh bij overmacht wordt er normaal sowieso een inhaalexamen ingelast vóór de tweede zit, toch ? Of is dat niet overal zo? Herinner me dat een aantal medestudenten (toen ik student was) een examen mochten inhalen in de lesvrije week omdat ze ziek waren geweest.

Aangezien den onze zonet afzei omwille vd sneeuw - weet of is er iemand een goeie electricien in Bxl of omstreken die binnenkort beschikbaar is om eens te komen zien naar onze elektriciteit?

Tis voor een insuctievuur te installeren. Onze gas is al afgesloten en die plaat moet eruit. Voorlopig redden we ons met een geleend elektrisch kookvuur, maar dat heeft maar twee pitjes en begin dat stilletjesaan beu te zijn (verbruikt ook wel wat).
