There are still plenty of good deals in streaming if you have shifted to on-demand. If you want live TV or sports, they’re out to gouge the fuck out of you. Luckily my Wife came around to on-demand only and an antenna. Of course, they’re trying hard to take away the antenna option from everyone with ATSC 3.0.

I’d argue he started earning it in the second half of his first season in Detroit. He really shook off his trade disappointment, buckled down and started playing to his potential that year. As the team got better, they reaped the rewards from a higher level of QB play.
Part of it is management that can’t handle their duties if they can’t walk over and intimidate workers. The other bit is many companies have cash reserves invested in commercial real estate instruments, and can’t handle the profoilo hit. And many of those company leaders are also personally invested in that same real estate.

Professional sports players are not barred from seeking employment with other teams after their contracts are over or terminated with their original team. This has zero bearing on sports.
Have to remember how non-competes work. They barred you working for competitors in the same field AFTER your employment ended.
Other thing to remember is these have been largely unenforceable for decades, unless you did something like take client lists, source code, etc from your former employer.

I’ve worked both the blue collar and white collar sides of the auto industry. The emperors are not wearing clothes. The white collar side is absolutely fucked. The highlight is when working for an IT contractor at GM and some plants went on strike. Every day there was a propaganda call from a guy that would have been right at home with ol’ Baghdad Bob. Lies all the way around with a dose of Comcast commercial distain in the delivery. Just could never take the auto industry management seriously after that.
