Since we're talking all about the #mythology of the #constellation#Orion this week, I started thinking more about scorpions (one of the ways this "hero" died)
And, I learned about this creature: Pulmonoscorpius -- an extinct scorpion that was about 28" long.
#retrogaming
In 2018 a tour group in Thailand stumbled upon a group of unfamiliar creatures. They thought they had discovered a new species of animal or something alien or paranormal.
The creatures were actually an installation by performance artist Tori Wrånes. Actors in elaborate costumes. The exhibition was called Naam Yai.
Random question but has anyone in the Fediverse ever played the #AIPet game series #Creatures before? I used to invest SO much time with it, and there was so much intricacy possible I never even knew how to touch... I still look it up now and then to see if any studio has bought the license, but the last I read is it went to the graveyard of a cell phone game developer years ago and that's it. Heck I'd settle for a cell phone game, though I'd much prefer it on computer.
Or just any AI pet game, with half of today's power... I just want to train and breed cute pets with their own "personalities" again. Is that such a big ask?
In #LegendsOfCastile adventure game, María de Salazar, our protagonist, will face all kind or threats and legendary creatures from the Spanish region of Castile. Are you prepared? 👹✝️⚡✨
