A 1-cent postage stamp from 1868 is going up for auction in June, and could fetch up to $5 million. It's one of only two known to exist (the other is owned by the New York Public Library) and features an image of Benjamin Franklin. Its "Z-grill" mark is what makes it particularly covetable for collectors. Smithsonian Magazine explains what that means.
Hi Fediverse!
I'd like to introduce to everyone my small business store that I run with my partner. My store has a lot of random & unique items from vintage collectibles to video games. I appreciate the space to be able to feel comfortable enough to share this. Cheers all! :blobcatcoffee:
Anyone know anyone else who is huge into Jim Henson Creature Shop or Muppets?
I have what I believe to be a full set of mint super rare Jim Henson Creature Shop toys. Originally set to be released and then canceled when the Chick-fil-A leadership were found out to be shitty.
I'd rather sell to someone who would take good care as opposed to going for biggest dollars on the likes of ebay.
