Curious about our ArtNet based light control system?

We've created a web GUI that enables easy access to various typical vehicle lighting scenarios. The operator gets instant feedback about the currently activated scenario.

Our layering concept allows prioritizing lighting animations and stacking them on top of each other.

By the way: Animations are provided as CSV files. You're free in choosing the tool to generate these.

Video shows a split screen: Left side displays a web GUI in blue color. Various buttons in a row. Each button has a light function assigned to it: "Welcome", "Goodbye", "Warning light", "Brake", ... Right side shows a light strip and a light controller that translates the button pressed into light animations on the stripe.

The Ringbearer may be trying to cross into Mordor...

Well, The War of the Ring is over.

I don't know what to tell folk back at the Shire, except to prepare themselves for an age of Sharkey's Rules.

The Mouth of Sauron and five Ringwraiths, including the Lord of the Nazgul, confronted the Fellowship at Mount Doom. Gothmog was killed by Boromir, but in the end even he couldn't protect the Halflings from the Pale King, who killed the Ringbearer and quickly whisked the One Ring to Barad-Dur.

That's great news: Gentoo is now part of the SPI (Software in the Public Interest) like many others, e.g. The Debian Project https://www.phoronix.com/news/Gentoo-Linux-SPI-Project

. Il mi ha lasciato metà a piedi. 😭️

Trying to harness the ...

I've got a busted consumer product here that has 2 in it. Either one would be sufficient to run this product (a brushless-motor tower fan), but are cheap, so why not throw a second one in if it saves a few centimeters of wire?

I'm trying to determine if there's a in use here to communicate from one to the other. It's one-way communication.

cazabon,

The other MCU pulls the signal wire to to xmit.

The MCUs - Holtek BS82C16A-3 and BS84B08A-3 - natively support and , but this isn't either of those.

Each with one byte of data starts with a long (~10ms) low pulse (for , presumably), followed by the line returning high for ~5ms, then the data bits are transmitted as low of different durations for 0 and 1 - 0.6ms and 2.8ms.

The eight data bits are followed by a stop/end bit, always short.

Final shield test for a Metro-shaped RP2040 🔬🚇🛠️🔌📲💾🚀📈✅🏭

We're testing out prototypes of a new Metro https://www.adafruit.com/search?q=metro RP2040 https://www.adafruit.com/search?q=rp2040 , while the 'classic Arduino shape' is not as popular these days with dev boards as it used to be, we like the roomy layout, with lots of socket headers, and plenty of space for accessories like a MicroSD card socket with both SPI and SDIO pinout, SWD debug port, Stemma QT, and 12V DC power port. @arduino @Raspberry_Pi

our last test is always to plug in our 2.8" captouch TFT shield https://www.adafruit.com/product/1947 because it tests both SPI and I2C. this passes and since all the GPIO are accounted for, we just have to wrap up the silk and it's off to fabrication!
