Haha, thought this would happen - tf are they kidding. The only way I can see this happening is if they work with #Valve directly, or if they sponsor #Linux folks to get it working like Valve often does but I don’t see that ever happening. These folks are also the same bunch that said they’d develop a Linux based #AYANEO OS of sorts that they’d ship with their devices years ago, then we never heard of it ever again.
I'd LOVE for this to be a growing trend in 2024 and years to come so SteamOS users and #SteamDeck fans could have more options in form factors and performance targets from their handhelds.
The upcoming #AYANEO and #GPD#handhelds will be utilizing the next generation AMD APU, the 8840U, but the new APU may not be the true generational update we expect.
