Rasta,

Ooh. I've set a new personal best! What's yours?

It's not a fitness workout, it's so I can stand & move.

Besides a few grunts & groans, I do this stretch every morning. I balance on 1-foot, pull my other knee to my chest, hold it, balanced on 1-foot, for 2 mins

I do have slightly different strength in one knee, than the other, & if I am distracted, I'll fall over 😆

#Exercise #Stretching #MorningRoutine Good for a squirrel to stay nimble as he ages. #NNM (No Names Mentioned) ok, it's Tim.

@Rasta Good for balance.

Rasta,

@Caiotekit I'm surprised. I don't really think I have good balance. And my ankles were always too weak for ice skating or rollerblading. It's a lot of weight to balance on one ankle. Center of gravity is important. I can pull up to my neck and hold the leg longer but not the ballance. If I hold it closer to waist height then center of gravity is lower, I can stand a minute longer

EllieK,

@Rasta
Have you tried it with your eyes closed? Ha ha!
I go through the XBX Canadian Air Force exercises. That keeps me from the osteopath visits as I have hypermobile joints and need strong muscles to hold myself together. Otherwise, things slip out of joint too easily.

Rasta,

@EllieK There is NO WAY I could do it with my eyes closed. Did you know about me falling? Just plunk.. fell over, lost my balance in the dark. Scared my wife.
IN the morning, in the country, I'm waiting for the sun, and I have some free time, a jug of coffee and a camera. It's often cool in the morning, a stretch and some exercise wouldn't hurt to take the chill off. I can do it longest then. Headphones on, audiobook, watching birds and the sky brighten. But I just started timing me

EllieK,

@Rasta
Didn't know about the fall. Take care not to fall anymore. Is your wife okay after hers? I'm assuming so, as you said you broke her fall pretty well.

Rasta,

@EllieK I have no balance three rungs up a ladder, I get dizzy and try to fall down. That's why it took so long last summer to fix my chimney, and side the house.
So, it's not my balance, it's height or orientation
