Insurance said it will cover hair restoration as gender-affirming care if I take minoxidil (rogaine) for a year on top of my spiro. So giving it a go starting today.
Any #TransFem folks have experience with this after a few years on spiro? Did it help at all? Any advice on best ways to apply it?
@JoscelynTransient actually I do have a tip: spray it, massage it in, but don’t let it run down on your face and then wash your hands well… that thing can make hair grow anywhere 🥲 if it happens don’t worry too much, it’ll go away on its own, but it still sucks
@kaylee hehe, yeah, I'm making sure to be careful with that, and i wipe clear the skin if it dribbles down... I don't need hair in the middle of my forehead 😅
