One of the oldest still operational computers I have is a , a ThinkPad I bought probably around 2008, soon after took over 's business. I dust off the about once per year to run an on . As you can see in the , it still runs and on a recent . Unfortunately, it requires 's drivers.
So, now tell me again which is required for a recent (). 😉

@f15h I read somewhere that businesses swap out their Windows machines every four years on average, their Linux machines every six. I run Linux and I only swap machines when they break down mechanically beyond reasonable repair.
