I can't believe that I've made it to day 8 with no repeats but it's been a busy sewing year. This was the second dress I made at #dressmaking classes in #ViệtNam with #BaliBatik. It was a clone of the earlier dress and I especially like the back darts. And of course, #ItHasPockets! Sadly, the batik is shredding in a big way with multiple small holes and bigger rips so it will probably only be worn at home until it's indecent for even that. #sewing #pockets
@nerdycrab@sewing I have an earlier me-made that I think will last a fair bit longer. It was made from a sarong from Sri Lanka, one that would have been worn by local people so it's still going strong after weekly washes. This one had more issues with fit but I do love the colours and pattern. It's served its purpose.

Wow… I know about sari fabric - my mum has a sari that HER mum wore from India and it still looks like it could be new!
