@vowe IDK, but if anyone wants a phisible #NFT they could just get a cashier reciept when they bus stuff in Germany which due to the bookkeeping and auditing requirements is unique with all the serial numbers and derivated timestamps printed on the bottom.
In essence, #ALDI has a free NFT giveaway for years now...
@vowe@kkarhan In India, #Flipkart launched an #NFT based loyalty program last year. If it works out for them, those #ALDI receipts might soon come with some #NFTs.
Also legally those cashier reciepts do come with actual usefulness as businesses can actually use them to get taxes reimbursed and account for business expenses like material purchases (i.e. a restaurant buys a pack of kitchen tissues or toilet papers and thus these are business expenses)...
@kkarhan@vowe Thanks for your interesting feedback. I’m not an expert in loyalty programs, and not sure how Flipkart’s is doing. I guess time will tell how it turns out.
@henry@vowe I'd be surprised if it survives more than a year and it either gets shut down due to lack of profit or becausr it'll be abused for skirting taxes amd laundering money...
I just don't see any "added value" no slapping blockchain ob shit.

It's transaction times aren't conducive to buying groceries in person at a block rate of two minutes, but it's faster and cheaper than #SEPA instant transfers, so there's that...
Everyone who does that shitty #BiometricScan must be know as a #Snitch cuz they're ratting themselves out for $15 in scrib money they can't even buy a Mountain Dew from...
