OK, this is great. Just found an #iOS equivalent of #MacWhisper and it’s free. Not sure if it always is, but it certainly is right now.
It’s #Accessible and works well with #VoiceOver.
@FreakyFwoof There's a medium model that's half the size and almost as accurate in English, so I wish it supported that. Otherwise, this looks really useful. I have a shortcut that sends audio files to the Whisper API but that isn't free, and it's obviously not as private. Thanks for this.
@FreakyFwoof I'll check it out, but the old bit about "if you're not the customer, you're the product" applies. Apps cost money to make and maintain. If they aren't selling you the app, they're selling your data to someone else.
@bryansmart Read their practices I guess, you're likely used to such things. I already paid for MacWhisper so won't be using this too often, but it's there.
