@mattbrowndev@sebastian I've just read the Ars article linked in https://phpc.social/@Crell/112457889095716217 - I still believe GDPR requires active consent for any data being collected for any purpose that wasn't consented to before. And henceforth, it would still be a good advice from opting out as well, until things are clarified with that regard as well.
