with 'sin taxes' on cannabis and dispensaries starting prices so high its not surprising they are loosing much if their business.
They would make more profit and not have to dispose of product (note to Canada's over growth issue) if the price was inline so the tax offset made it a 'normal price'.
You don't have to charge 100$ for 50$ worth of product to make overhead if you sell 10x the amount at 50$ then you do at 100$
