Any #cdrama fans watched wuxia ‘Heroes’ (2022)? Thoughts?
Viki is streaming it. Noticed it has my crush Liu Yu Ning AND Joseph Zeng in it. Plus Baron Chen as villain.
Director is same as the beautiful Farewell My Princess.
Based on a novel by Woon Swee Oan, the Hong Kong-based Malaysian Chinese poet and writer who also inspired series & film, The Four. The novel is about the nature of heroes.
@AnnaAnthro ah. I skimmed through this show, but didn't properly watch it. Mostly because I like sworn brotherhood and tragedy. If you like that too, you'll probably enjoy it I think
@AnnaAnthro or do you mean Meteor? Yup, it is Gu Long Afterall. He doesn't hold back. Wuxia back in the day was grittier. Tho compared to Game of Thrones this isn't anything close to that!
