It is against our beliefs to charge any monies for doing any spiritual healing works. If you meet folks who try to charge you monies for spiritual healing works - they're grifting charlatans. My peoples believe we go to demonic dungeons, if we ever charge monies to help people suffer less. We will accept foods. If we have to travel far to deliver our spiritual ceremonies services, we'd like to not be out of pocket for providing free spiritual healing services. We will sleep on your floor.
And FYI - any true spiritual healing worker who isn't OK sleeping on floors when no other spaces are available isn't a true healing worker. I'm disabled, with bad scoliosis back & have slept on many uncomfortable spots.
Please don't give money to charlatans. They aren't trying to help you. They're trying to fool you into supporting them, financially. That goes against all spiritual wellness & goodness.
Don't let charlatans lie about how everyone is supposed to provide all comforts to them either. Those greedy, sell out charlatans, choose to forget their own honour codes. We do not accept monies for spiritual healing help services - EVER - if we are following our spiritual guides. We offer foods or service.
People who request ceremonial needs - gift our chosen temples with foods & donations for temple upkeep. People who are poor can lay down grains of rice. That is basic ancient respects.
Whether you lay down one single grain of rice or 100 bricks of gold - you should not be given different treatment but equal humane treatment. Anyone who violates basic code of humanity, needs to work on themselves more & stop trying to buy a free ticket into humanity.
I have been offered monies for services a lot & ask folks to donate to nonprofits that I support instead. I won't accept any monies for spiritual healing help services.
I only want my travel expenses covered - if asked to travel to deliver help. That is fair. I don't want to be out of pocket, for trying to meet help requests.

You are like the modern day spiritual healer. Well, I suppose they never went away, so you're just a day spiritual healer. Good on you, someone's gotta look after us sorry lot.
@Madagascar_Sky I'm the only one in my family who was taught both sides of my cultural & spiritual backgrounds. I trained with Taoist monks & nuns for several years. They taught me life long, meaningful & applicable services.
I'm also 'adopted' by several First Nations in BC here & been working alongside with Indigenous ppls here for decades.
